Back in the day ("the day" meaning the early '90s), something happened in the North of England: the baggy movement. Along with seminal acts such as Happy Mondays, the Stone Roses, Charlatans and Primal Scream came a gaggle of bands who wrote songs with the shelf life of a banana. Kids bought records by such three-minute heroes as Northside, Flowered Up, the Real People, Milltown Brothers and the Farm. With bubbly dance noises and Acid House beats, the Farm created songs that nobody can seem to remember; but they had a righteous collection of Joe Bloggs flares and were sponsored by Bennetton shoes. Oh, and their manager was Suggs from Madness. Their songs "Groovy Train" and "All Together Now" enjoyed minimal chart success.
