| | TVXQ! (동방신기, Dong Bang Shin Ki) / 東方神起 (Tohoshinki) is a South Korean duo formed in 2004 under SM Entertainment, and later debuted under Avex Trax in Japan. Their name roughly translates as "Rising Gods of the East." They were originally a quintet but in 2009 members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and left the group, they have since gone on to form JYJ and have solo careers.
