Millie scored a surprise hit in the U.S. and the U.K. with "My Boy Lollipop" in 1964 when she was just a teenager. A childish-voiced crooner with a wacky sense of humor, she never reached those heights again, but her later forays into lovers rock and rocksteady are actually very charming.
