| | Andrea True (July 26, 1943 Nashville TN - November 7, 2011 Kingston NY) was a US-American adult film star and singer from the disco era. From 1975 to 1977 she released two albums and various singles with her recording project Andrea True Connection, and one solo album in 1980.
In addition to her given name, she had multiple stage names, including Inger Kissin, Andrea Travis, Catherine Warren, Singh Low, and Singe Low. During the late 1960's True relocated to New York City to pursue a career in acting. Between 1970 and 1975 she had established herself in the adult entertainment business. After Andrea True Connection's first single release in 1975 and following album release in 1976, True continued her film career during 1976. By 1977 she put her film career on hold to concentrate on touring and recording Andrea True Connection's second album. After Andrea True Connection's second single release from that album failed to chart in the Top Forty, her contract with Buddah Records was cancelled. By 1978 Andrea was back in adult films churning out two for the year. In 1980 she released her final album "War Machine" as a solo artist for the Italian Ricordi International label, performing rock and new wave. |
