Producer, label head, synth player, and guitarist Neil Norman is best known to the listening public (or at least portions of it) for his arrangements of sci-fi and outer-space related soundtrack music. His Greatest Science Fiction Hits series, for example, includes reworkings of themes from Dr. Who, Star Wars, The Twilight Zone, War of the Worlds, and many other films. Tracks range from spooky synth-scapes to guitar-driven space boogies. Then there are his numerous Star Trek-related efforts which include not only reworkings of music from the many films and TV show spin-offs, but also a full album's worth of sound effects that are bound to come in handy for the devoted Trekkie.
