| | Alsou is a Russian singer and actress. Born 27 June 1983 in Bugulma, Tatarstan, RSFSR, USSR.
She represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in which she received the 2nd place with the song [m287621] right after Denmark, giving her recognition across Europe. Alsou hosted the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 held in Moscow.
Before Alsou turned 18, she had already achieved great success and was honored several times.
