EDDIE Vinyl Records and CDs
Although the late Chicago Blues artist Eddie Taylor recorded as a leader throughout his career -- beginning in the mid-'50s with "Bad Boy" and "Big Town Playboy," and up until his death in 1985 -- he is best known to blues aficionados for his recordings with the legendary Jimmy Reed, for whom Taylor worked as bass player, arranger, and most significantly, guitar player. He is widely credited for pioneering a behind-the-beat, shuffling, and relaxed rhythm guitar style that helped define Reed's sound.
