Athletics champion, Max-Henri Boulois started as a journalist in 1961. He worked at L'Aurore, at L'Équipe, then at the ORTF. In the 1970s he lived in Spain. Under the name Max B, he composes and performs songs and acts in some Spanish films. In 1972 he released the single Bananaticoco on the Opalo label, an international hit. Between 1973 and 1979, he released three albums, the first on Opalo, the next two on the Movieplay label.
