Down is a heavy metal supergroup who featured, on their first record, NOLA,Pantera singer Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan of Corrosion OfConformity, Eyehategod's Jim Bower and Crowbar's Todd Strange. For II,released in 2002, the group had been pared back to Anslemo, Kennan andBower. Down plays Doomy, boogying metal with strong ZZ Top elements andthe occasional semi-psychedelic break.
