Brazilian composer and cavaquinho player (1923 - 1980). In 1950 he recorded his first solo release on Continental playing two choros with cavaquinho: "Cinco malucos", written by himself, and "O que é que há", from Dilermano Reis. In the 50s he founded his own orchestra, with singers as Albertinho Fortuna. He recorded almost forty 78 rpm records with Continental.
