Died 18.12.2011 in Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
He released eight solo albums from 1976 to 1998. He co-wrote Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's "Where is the Love" and Bill Withers' "Just The Two Of Us"
He started his career at the age of 16 as percussionist for Harry Belafonte and was a member of Belafonte's band for 10 years. He played as a session percussionist in many artists' recordings over the ensuing decades, including George Benson, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, Art Garfunkel, <a href="https://www.musicstack.com/discography/billy+joel... He co-founded publishing/production company Antisia Music, Inc. with longtime songwriting partner William Salter and William Eaton in 1968. He founded Rosebud Recording Studio in the mid-1970s.
