Poison Idea's "screw 'em if they can't take a joke and screw 'em if they can" approach chased away the lily-livered and attracted fans of violent, primal Punk like flies on a flesh wound. Espousing a doctrine of destruction and total self-loathing, these filth-core cretins assaulted audiences with audio ambuscades of vocal hatchet jobs and bayoneting guitars. Unlike the majority of live-fast, die-young Punk acts, Poison Idea's career spanned an entire decade, allowing them to plumb uncharted depths of hatred and negativity.
