Although this duo hails from the nippy region of Tromso, Norway, their tag-team electronica crosses latitudes -- their use of thought-provoking samples and vocoder-laced dance grooves places their sound somewhere between Boards of Canada and the Pet Shop Boys. Their debut album, Melody A.M., received so much praise that it was later reissued by Astralwerks as a double disc featuring several remixes and videos. The animated video for the "Remind Me Remix" offers an optimistic answer to neo-classical composer Philip Glass' Koyaanisqatsi by showing our industrious world in balance rather than in chaos.
