Formed in 1994, this Post-Rock trio (drums, tuba, guitar) first gained notice on college radio stations about three years later. Despite having one of the goofiest and most unwieldy instruments in the world as their centerpiece, the band somehow manage to lay down irresistible grooves that are as funky as they are quirky.
