Steve Archer may well possess one of the clearest, sweetest, most sincere voices in Contemporary Christian Music. His newer work concentrates on simple, moving songs that deliver inspirational messages in non-dogmatic ways. Gentle guitar and backing Gospel choir make this seasoned artist's efforts particularly pleasing. Incidentally, Archer won a Grammy in 1980 for his work with the sister-brother duo the Archers.
