Combining the raw ferocity of punk and the blind, aggressive fury of metal, Connecticut's Hatebreed play short tracks filled with intensity. A grinding, rhythmic low-end guitar swings quarter-roll filled punches in the air, backed by heavy-handed drumming. Seething with anger, the vocalist screams his bitter sentiments hoarsely, a flailing blur of t-shirt and baseball hat. Influenced by early metal like Slayer, Venom and Celtic Frost, Hatebreed play suburban Hardcore under a crushing wall-of-guitar sound.
