Blaine is the legendary session drummer who put the thunder in Phil Spector's much copied "wall of sound." Besides tub thumping with everyone from the Beach Boys to Elvis Presley, Blaine released a series of ultragroovy instrumental albums throughout the 1960s. Rock fans and recording stars affectionately refer to him as the world's greatest drummer.
