Cindy Birdsong was born on December 15, 1939 in Camden, New Jersey, USA as Cynthia Ann Birdsong. She is an actress, known for Tarzan (1966), The Ed Sullivan Show (1948) and TCB (1968). She was previously married to Charles Hewlett. Replaced Florence Ballard in The Supremes in 1967 and left in 1972. Returned to the group in 1973 but then left again in 1976. Kidnapped on December 2, 1969 at knifepoint. She escaped by jumping out of a speeding car on the Hollywood Freeway.
