Country-tinged Folk-Pop from one of L.A.'s best Singer-Songwriters. Miranda Lee Richards sounds like a canyon angel with a loving and nurturing voice, her songs saturated in country heart. Her fragile-tremolo high-lonesome harmonies are what many other country Singer-Songwriters aspire to achieve. In "Prayer," the cascading melody sails off into violins, piano, French horns and a slide guitar. One of her songs was recently recorded by Anton Newcomb of the Brian Jonestown Massacre and included on the band's Bringing it all Back Home Again. Armed with a Gibson Black Dove, an ethereal voice and a skilled band that knows when to hold 'em, it is just a matter of time before Richard's romantic songs land on lovers' mix tapes everywhere.
