Bow Wow Wow was the brainchild of Malcolm McClaren, who conscripted three of Adam's "Ants" before appointing the nubile, pre-pubescent sexpot Annabella Lwin leader of the group. "C30, C60, C90" and, of course, "I Want Candy" were club hits for the band and established their trademark sound: African tribal percussion and sassy fox-pop with a chastening dose of DIY Punk angst.
