American singer, songwriter, and pianist. Born August 30, 1924 Wellington, Kansas Died January 15, 2000 Wailuku, Maui County, Hawaii. His biggest recording was the boogie woogie cover of the Don Raye/Freddie Slack composition "The House of Blue Lights" reaching #9 US in 1955.
