The jangly Power Pop sound of the mid-1980s is revisited here by Blown who revamp the style, complementing the pre-Dinosaur Jr. guitar rock with a dose of country kick. Blown's sole release came out in 1993, but their intelligent lyrics and high-octane, indie-boogie guitars have not aged a bit.
