(b. Apricena, 16 June 1925 – Foggia, 27 August 2005)
Composer and singer of Popular Italian music. He lived in poverty his childhood after World War I. Initially these are the themes of his compositions.
Discovered by Claudio Villa in 1955, signed his first contract with the same recording label where Claudio Villa was signed in, Vis Radio.
Sometimes appear as : "Matteo Salvatore E La Sua Chitarra" = "...And His Guitar"
