| | Swiss singer, songwriter, entertainer and actor, born August 19th, 1950 in Schaffhausen. Grew up partly in Schaffhausen and in the Ticino. Made his apprenticeship as a commercial employee in Schaffhausen. Later he worked as a DJ and singer in the Ticino, attended the acting school in Milano. In 1971 he released his first record. In 1972 he won the "Festival della Città di Milano".
He participated in the festival "Die goldene Brücke" in Berlin in 1975. Became leader of the Kellertheater in Wangen an der Aare in September 1976 (until July 1979).
Worked temporarily at the Bernhard-Theater in Zurich as actor in musicals (1977,1978 and 1980). Co-writer of the song "Io" for for the Swiss pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 1981. |
