Review
Jane Monheit has had substantial success on the jazz charts, but she's always shown a lite rock side as well. This holiday release alternates her feel for swing and bop with silky Streisand-style pop, resulting in a unified, high-class holiday disc. A couple of new tunes and less recorded numbers (including a frisky "The Man With the Bag") help this one stand out.
