Guitar Slim was known for completely over-the-top performances. While this collection doesn't provide a front row seat to the spectacle of him playing his guitar with his eyebrows (practically), you do get "Story of My Life," which has one of the most sonically devastating guitar sounds ever put to tape, not to mention his erratic, almost atonal lead style.
