On "I Wanna Love (Like That Again)," Moore lassos and rides a breezy Brazilian beat as she frames the inevitable passing of innocence after love's loss. On the quietly affecting "Listen to My Song," Moore captures the desire to be appreciated beyond the senses. She pleads over Paul Jackson Jr.'s gently weeping guitar: "So, look at me/But not with your eyes/Touch me with more than your hands." With Keith Washington, Moore presents a shimmering exploration of sustained romance on "Candlelight and You." Moore's big first single, "Love's Taken Over," features the intriguing amalgam of a menacing bass rhythm and featherlight, densely layered backup vocals, capped by her seductive celebration of love's control of helpless lovers.
