She started in Ella Y Los Neumáticos in 1980, and later with Magia Blanca in 1985, where she met with whom she formed Alex & Christina in 1988. In 1991 she started her solo career, first with a backing band known as Los Subterráneos ("Que Te Parta Un Rayo") and later just with her name. She was married with for some years.
