| | Danish acapella vocal sextet originated 1996 at Aarhus University. The name is stylized baSix. In 2001 Basix (Morten Kjær, Osman Kingo, Peter Bach, Jakob Hejlesen, John Kjøller and Niels Nørgaard) participated with the song "I Australien" in "Dansk Melodi Grand Prix", the Danish version of , which helped to give them a breakthrough when the group reached second place and the "fagjury" top marks. Basix broke up in December 2017 with a farewell tour in China and Hong Kong. |
