Though a stellar blues harpist and singer, Cobbs is known for his classic "You Don't Love Me," which has been performed by The Allman Brothers, Albert King, Bo Diddley and Junior Wells, among others. His harp has a dirty blues sound reminiscent of Jimmy Reed, while his higher ranged vocals could make you cry, especially considering the way his songwriting nails you in the gut.
