Known for being one of the very first bands on the U.K. Punk scene, the Vibrators began as a long-haired pub band. They quickly changed their identity, blasting out catchy Punk songs that held tight to an edgy pop aesthetic. While many of the younger punks picking up guitars at the time seemed bent on being loud and fast, the Vibrators kept a quality of pure rock 'n' roll embedded in their songs. Their melodies catch your ear and sink hooks into your brain, making it impossible to shake the songs from your head. The Vibrators' songs retain their status as some of Punk's most time-tested and influential -- after all, the Stiff Little Fingers named themselves after a Vibrators song. The Vibrators' music still sounds as fresh, furious and fun as it did in 1976.
