Stanley Paul has been Chicago's favorite society bandleader and pianist ever since 1964 when he moved from New York to play music at the Pump Room. Born in 1938 in Pennsylvania, Paul was an honor student at Penn State University. After graduation in 1960 moved to New York City. He worked with countless show-business legends. In 1972 Mr. Paul shifted the emphasis of his career from the Pump Room to private bookings and his ensemble remains in high demand for Chicago's most prestigious social events.
