| Robert Winters grew up in Detroit, USA. living in the Fort-Viser streets area.
Robert moved to California and finally got a deal with Motown and then Buddha
He suffered from Polio from the age of 5 & was confined to a wheelchair. In fact, on the back of the Magic Man LP, he speaks of some of the obstacles that he faced. ."Fall" was Walter "W.T." Turner who was also a vocalist.
Robert Winters was later based in L.A. & was a session keyboardist who played with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sly, Johnny Rivers & Graham Central Station
The Magic Man Lp from 1981, contained the ballads: Into My World, Magic Man, How Can Love Be Wrong & When Will My Love Be Right
His L.O.V.E. Lp from 1982 contained the ballads: Do It Anyway You Want, I Love You Mom, Lady & a dance cut: Dancin' Lady. |
