Point of Grace are the favorite CCM sugar pop girl band, with more substance in their melodies than you'd expect of a pop outfit. The "Girls of Grace" (actually the title of their 2002 compilation) have put 10 years of harmonic know-how into laying down classics like "The Great Divide" and "Keep the Candle Burning." Their ministry jumps off of the musical page in the long-running theme of mentoring young girls and women, but their musical destiny was obvious right from their self-titled debut, an album that hit with six No. 1 singles. That feat remains unsurpassed by any other artist or album in any genre. It might sound hard to keep that candle burning, but after five gold albums, one platinum, eight Doves and multiple Grammy nods, P.O.G. made further mainstream pop history with a record-breaking 24 consecutive No. 1 hit radio singles?àand counting.
