A true-jack-of-all-trades, Paul Wall is a DJ, rapper, promoter and owner of a hugely successful jewelry store. Representing Houston, Tex., he got his start doing street team work, making mix tapes, and DJing house parties before hooking up with Chamillionare to form the Color Changing Click. The two released several independent records before an ugly breakup. Wall then returned to Swisha House and got his first taste of national fame thanks to his star turn on Mike Jones' breakout hit "Still Tippin'." This led to a major label deal with Atlantic, as well as his own smash single "Sittin' Sideways," in the summer of 2005. Wall's heavily-anticipated solo album, The People's Champ, dropped shortly thereafter, cementing his status as a Dirty South superstar.
