GIBSON BOB Vinyl Records and CDs

New York-born folk singer Bob Gibson was a star of the late-1950s/early-1960s folk revival. He sang Traditional Folk songs as well as his own compositions, and he frequently collaborated with songwriter and illustrator Shel Silverstein. Gibson was a master of the twelve-string guitar, able to pick intricately or play with propulsive, melodic force. In this capacity, he left an indelible stamp on the Folk-Rock movement to come, particularly on the Byrds' Roger McGuinn.
