Review
On Back On Top (1999), Van the man treads on familiar ground; some songs sound as if they were gleaned from Astral Weeks or the spiritually leaning Avalon Sunset. Van Morrison has an impressively large catalog, and though Back On Top is hardly a retread, casual listeners would be better off sticking to the aforementioned classics.
