Review
The Donnas may have been catapulted to the top by America's love for a good gimmick (theirs was "teenage girls in tight pants"), but the fact remains: they write brilliantly dumb lyrics and play their instruments like the rock 'n' machines they sing about on first cut of this 1998 debut (especially the lead guitarist).
