Review This best-of compilation makes for shocking listening: it's uncanny that Santana's early work still sounds so fresh and vital decades after the fact. "Jingo" is still an amazing rock-descarga, "Samba Pa Ti" outdoes Eric Clapton on the gentle guitar-rock love song front, and the fraternal twin ghosts of boogaloo and the blues haunt the album ten different ways.
