On his eighth LP, an ambitious and thoroughly dope double album, Nas continues to raise the bar of lyricism in mainstream rap. The Queensbridge, N.Y., kingpin merges old school production ("Sekou Story") and deadly accurate social/racial commentary ("These Are Our Heroes"), and shows love for his sweetie Kelis ("Getting Married"). Another classic from Mr. Jones.
