Review Released under both Manne's and pianist Andre Previn's names, this was the first of the jazz-does-Broadway albums and one of the biggest sellers of the 1950s. Manne's always an amazing drummer who never hogs the spotlight, while Previn shows how underrated he is -- his lean, alternately propulsive/sensitive style is a joy. Bassist Leroy Vinnegar rounds out the trio.
