Review
One of the few times Madonna was panned by the critics was when she released Erotica -- and one suspects it was mostly due to the Sex book that came out at the same time. Most of Erotica's uptempo songs feature House-inspired beats, putting the 1992 release, way ahead of the electronica trend -- and the material girl ahead of the curve -- again.
