An instrumental attack as supercharged as Soundgarden's ("The Dam at Otter Creek"), freely suggestive lyrics and vocal phrasing that recall Michael Stipe ("Selling the Drama"), whisper-to-a-scream dynamics à la Nirvana – this Pennsylvania quartet seems ready-made for alternative stardom.
