Review
Known for his meditative, acoustic eloquence, Talbot now rocks it up. Though some spots evoke a Birkenstock-clad dad attempting to be hip, his tenor trill and folk-jam guitars make for sweet honey. Psychotropic threads, as in the spiritual "Kyrie," let slip his 1960s roots and make this hard to turn off.
