On this excellent compilation, the Godfather of Soul shares the spotlight with his protégés, giving shine to such artists as Fred Wesley ("Blow Your Head"), Lyn Collins ("Give It Up Or Turnit A Loose"), and Bobby Byrd ("Doin The Do"). The resulting tunes are some of the most addictively funky joints you'll ever hear.
