This British pop vocalist belted out songs in the mid- to late-1960s that had more in common with Rodgers and Hammerstein than Lennon and McCartney. Tracks like "Where Are You Now (My Love) overflow with a grand, smoky ambience somewhere between Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark.
