Exactly what the title says, with Kerouac reading his beat- and bop-inspired writings in the same mad rush they were written in (including Jack slamming the pages over so that he wouldn't have to pause even for a nanosecond). Forget the stereotype of the beatnik as being cool to the point of frozen; what always jumps out with Kerouac is his honest, "gee whiz" enthusiasm.
