Review
Recorded live at the legendary 1972 Wattstax concert, this disc finds Isaac Hayes at the top of his game, treating the 100,000+ crowd to his inimitable baritone. Whether or not you've seen the documentary film (which also features Richard Pryor and the Dramatics), this is a great album, with stirring renditions of "Theme From Shaft" and "Never Can Say Goodbye.
