Review The 1991 debut from Electronic sounds more like the product of vocalist Bernard Sumner (New Order) than guitarist Johnny Marr (the Smiths). Though Sumner's patented dance laments are familiar enough, they have seldom come across more freshly than here. With Marr's tight hooks and refined accompaniments, it all adds up to pure pop confectionary.
