Review In Anatomy of a Murder, Jimmy Stewart was history's hippest small town lawyer, hanging out in jazz clubs, smoking, drinking and playing piano with The Duke. The Ellington/Strayhorn score adds dimension to the once scandalous, still superb film and it also stands up on its own. The famous LP cover was designed by Saul Bass and Peggy Lee penned lyrics to the title.
